Murray Banks has been a speaker and trainer for 23 years. His presentations focus on lifestyle and its impact on leadership and work performance. And he knows something about performance… he is an honored educator and a World Champion athlete. Armed with a Masters Degree and abundant enthusiasm, Murray was an educator at every level from grade school to graduate school in the ‘70’s & early ‘80’s. He was honored for his teaching and coaching, culminating with Vermont’s Teacher of the Year and the national Outstanding Educator award. At the same time he was achieving educational honors, he was winning his first of four national championships in the triathlon. In 1984, he took a sabbatical from teaching to pursue an advanced degree in educational leadership, write a textbook and focus on training for the Ironman Triathlon World Championship in Hawaii. Two times he has been one of the top finishers in the Triathlon World Championship. Racing the top skiers from Europe and Scandinavia, Murray won the Masters World Championship in cross-country skiing. Murray’s presentations are a blend of engaging stories, humorous anecdotes and hilarious visuals. He limits his speaking engagements allowing abundant time to research each organization, zero in on their needs and create an highly personalized presentation. Murray lives in the beautiful Green Mountains of Vermont and enjoys skiing and hiking in the mountains surrounding his home.
