Mort Crim is the author of numerous books and has been the writer and voice of the hit national radio series, Mort Crim's "Second Thoughts." He also delivers a live, five-minute daily newscast, "News You Care About," broadcast on the Talk America Radio Network. His book "Second Thoughts On: How to Be As Terrific As Your Dog Thinks You Are" shows us how pets play a significant role in our emotional lives. Other books include, "Good News for Tough Times", "The Joy of Good News", "How to Be as Terrific as Your Dog Thinks You Are", "Good News For a Change" and "Second Thoughts: One Hundred Upbeat Messages For Beat-Up Americans." Mort Crim has more than thirty-five years of broadcast journalism experience and was also a pilot. He worked with ABC and as a senior editor and anchor for WDIV-TV (NBC), Detroit. As a broadcast journalist, Mort traveled the world and examined the lives of men, women and children of every description. He found people who seemingly possess "everything " are miserable and others whom we'd label "unfortunate" brim with humor and hope. Mort realized there is only one conclusion: What's going on around us is never as important as what's going on inside us. Mort's simple message and yet one we all desperately need to hear.
