Ron Galloway

Ron Galloway was born and raised in Augusta, GA. He graduated from Georgia Tech in 1984 with a B.S. in Industrial Management. Ron began his career as an analyst with Shearson Lehman in 1985. He remained in the financial business for 20 years.

Ron wrote and directed the feature film “Folly Island” which won the Best Comedy Feature Award at the New York International Independent Film Festival. He produced “Oflag 64: A P.O.W. Odyssey,” a World War II documentary which premiered on PBS.

In 2006 he produced and directed "Why Wal-Mart Works & Why That Makes Some People Crazy." The film premiered inside the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington, DC, and received global attention. Ron is a widely recognized expert on Wal-Mart and their business practices.

Ron Galloway was featured on CNN, CNBC, MSNBC, ABC’s World News Tonight, Good Morning America, and was made fun of on Jon Stewart’s Daily Show. He has been on nearly 100 talk radio shows, including the BBC. Print coverage includes features in the NY Times, Washington Post, USA Today, LA Times and over 300 other newspapers worldwide, including the front page of China Daily.
