Charles P. García CEO, García Trujillo, leads a consulting, merchant banking, and venture capital firm founded by Latino business executives to focus on the global Hispanic market. Garcia Trujillo helps Fortune 500 and multi-national management teams to significantly grow their Hispanic market share, focusing on strategy, execution, operations, and organization. In 2006, he sold his financial advisory firm which at one point had more than 60 offices in seven countries, with 20,000 Hispanic clients with over $2 billion in assets. His firm was named by Inc. magazine as the # 8 fastest growing privately held company in the country and he was named Entrepreneur of the Year by three national organizations.

President Obama reappointed him to the U.S. Air Force Academy Board of Visitors, which oversees all operations at the military academy. The board, which includes four U.S. Senators and four members of the House of Representatives, elected him as the Chairman of the Board, for four consecutive years. He is on the Board of Directors of Winn Dixie Stores, a Fortune 500 Company and one of the nation’s largest food retailers. Aetna, a Fortune 100 company, named him Chairman of an Advisory Council reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, focused on growing the Hispanic market share of this diversified healthcare company. He is the national spokesman and Hispanic market consultant for Amway, a leader in the $80 billion global direct selling industry. Charles serves on the board of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs.

Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush appointed him as the only Hispanic to two terms on the State Board of Education, responsible for all public education in Florida with an annual budget of $15 billion. A commission appointed by President Reagan selected him to serve as one of fourteen White House Fellows. Hispanic Business magazine recognized him as one of the “100 most influential Hispanics in the United States,” and he received the Congressman Henry B. Gonzalez Public Service and Integrity Award for his leadership championing rights for all persons, especially Latinos. He is profiled in three recent books including Hispanics in the USA: Making History where he was chosen as one of the 14 Hispanic role models for the nation.

A highly decorated military officer, Charles was Telemundo’s behind-the-desk military analyst during the 23-day U.S. invasion of Iraq, and he is frequently sought by Fox, ABC, CNN, Telemundo, and Univision network to lend his unique insights into issues of national significance. In 2003, Charles authored a bestselling leadership book, "A Message from Garcia" that was favorably reviewed by the New York Times. In 2009, his second book was published: "Leadership Lessons of the White House Fellows," which has been translated into five languages. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Air Force Academy achieving the rank of Deputy Wing Commander. Charles Garcia received a master’s degree in public administration, and a law degree from Columbia Law School.
