Prior to establishing Carver & Associates, a management consulting firm, Joy served as a performance consultant to Pecos River Learning Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico, now owned by Aon. While there she designed and delivered performance improvement programs for employees at all levels within various Top 100 organizations. As executive director of management development for Honeywell, Inc., she managed the formulation and implementation of company-wide training and developmental policies, and strategies that supported corporate operating priorities. Previously Joy was director of admissions for The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, where she was responsible for marketing and promoting the college on a regional level. As co-founder and principal of The Professional Skills Center in Atlanta, she developed and marketed seminars on quality management for executives in corporations, government agencies, and private companies. Joy has facilitated leadership programs for The Franklin Covey Company, including The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, Principled Centered Leadership, and Organizational Effectiveness Cycle. She served as lead consultant when CitiGroup roled out its global training on Quality. Joy’s Enterprises consists of several successful joint ventures including Carver & Associates, Full Circle Consulting Group, and Fit, P.H.A.T, and Fabulous.
