Two years in a row, John Kinde was first-runner-up in a humorous speaking competition representing the best of over 20,000 people. Toastmasters International selected Kinde as the 36th person world-wide to be certified as an Accredited Speaker for Professionalism and Outstanding Achievements in Public Speaking. The Los Angeles Chapter of the National Speakers Association honored him as the sixth winner of the Connie Award for Professionalism On The Speaking Platform. John the past chair of the Humor Professional Expert Group at the National Speakers Association (NSA). John is recognized as an expert who speaks with impact and provides value. John sings barbershop harmony and plays racquetball, but not at the same time. He is an experienced speaker and performer, having studied acting and dance, although he doesn't sing and dance on stage (you'll be thankful for that). For the past eight years he has directed an improv comedy troupe which produces workshops and public performances. He competed as a semifinalist in a California statewide improv tournament. Thousands of people, from Alaska and Canada to the Bahamas, have been amused, enlightened and motivated by John's innovative keynote presentations and workshops. John Kinde has a BA degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA in Personnel Administration from the University of Missouri. The 60 credit hours beyond his master's degree were in presentation and performance skills. His formal education has prepared him to help others build strong teams and productive relationships. Seven colleges and universities have offered his extension classes. He has worked as a blackjack dealer and also in the public school system. John has performed as a professional magician and directed two improv troupes for ten years. Nearly everything John Kinde has done has been related to teaching and entertainment.
