Ed McMillan is recognized as one of the foremost presenters and authors in the field of financial management today, Ed offers dynamic presentations on a broad range of topics. With a solid background in nonprofit organizations, he offers unique points of view. Ed is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Association Executive. Spending almost his entire career in not-for-profit financial management, having served as the Controller of the national office of Associated Builders and Contractors and as the Finance and Membership Director of the American Correctional Association. In 1993 Ed left management to become "Faculty Chair for Finance" for the US Chamber of Commerce and was the first recipient of their Commerce's Excellence in Teaching Award. Ed has authored five books on not-for-profit financial management and one novel. Ed now concentrates on speaking, writing and consulting on financial management topics. On the personal side, he lives near Baltimore and enjoys enjoys coaching youth sports and motor cross racing.
