Ed Metcalf is the president of an international speaking and training firm. He has been voted the "Best Speaker" in technical and non-technical conferences and conventions - both Domestically and Internationally. He has presented to groups ranging in size from 16 to 6,000. He retired from IBM after 25 years. His most recent corporate work was as a Senior Instructor in the IBM Management Institute. Here his responsibility was conducting employee workshops on Stress Management, Team Building, Managing Change, Negotiation, Leadership, Attitude, Planning, and Problem Solving. "Dr. Ed", as he is known by audiences around the world, is a member of The National Speakers Association, The Georgia Speakers Association, Georgia Society of Association Executives, Meeting Professionals International, The American Society for Training and Development and has taught Organizational Psychology and Human Relations at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta. Ed Metcalf has B.S. Degrees in Mathematics, Chemistry & Physics; a M.S. Degree in Mathematics, and a Ph.D. Degree in Education / Computer Science. He has taught Mathematics in Istanbul, Turkey on a Fulbright Teaching Grant from the U.S. State Department, plus presenting in 19 foreign countries.
