Kerry Munro

Kerry Munro has always enjoyed faced paced competitiveness. At an early age his athletic accomplishments earned him National Championships and records, scholarship offers and the opportunity to see the world as part of Canada’s National track and field team. He transformed that high performance attitude into his business career where, while still in high school, he started a student enterprise that he then franchised while attending university.

Since that time Kerry has enjoyed over 20 years of success in the high tech field where as a technology leader and visionary he has been leading and advising brands on how to create meaningful and long standing connections with consumers. He has an innate ability to translate technology into profitable results and has held numerous senior leadership roles including running Bell Canada’s SMB IT business, AT&T’s mobile operations in Canada and rebuilding Yahoo’s Canadian operations.

As the head of Yahoo Canada he took a floundering business and turned it into the best performing business in Yahoo worldwide and created the largest digital franchise in Canadian history. He has advised global companies like Live Nation on how to integrate digital and social media into their marketing mix, developed the Canadian strategy for LinkedIn, and helped guide numerous business executives and their teams through the ever changing world of digital and social media.

In his role as COO at Syncapse Corp. Munro led one of Profit Magazine's fastest growing companies in Canada and one of the top social technology software companies in the world. Recognized as one of the top 50 most engaged workplaces in North America, Syncapse has connected Fortune 500 brands to close to 100 million consumers globally and has helped them to effectively build, manage and measure the success of their social media initiatives.

Kerry Munro is Canada Post's Group President, Digital Delivery Network.

Munro is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), is a frequent contributor to news organizations and was recognized as one of the most influential marketers in Canada by Marketing Magazine. He translates his high performance attitude and approach into a no nonsense conversation that leaves his audience, engaged, entertained and wanting more. You and your team will be sure to leave his session with a renewed sense of understanding of the opportunity in front of you, a series of actionable items and plans that you can apply immediately and a reinvigoration that will last well beyond the day.
