Thomas Price, speaker and an independent consultant and foreign affairs analyst, who spent 3-1/2 years in Vienna, Austria, where he was the Coordinator of Economic and Environmental Activities of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). Upon his departure from Vienna, Tom Price was appointed Coordinator Emeritus. Prior to accepting the OSCE post, Mr. Price spent more than twenty years in the American diplomatic corps, where his last posting was Islamabad, Pakistan, as Political Counselor in the large US Embassy there. During those 3 years Tom Price was responsible for running a large political section, for coordinating political reporting between the Embassy and the three US consulates in Pakistan, and for conducting the official communications between the US government and the various factions governing different portions of Afghanistan. Before embarking on his Foreign Service career, Tom Price occupied a number of positions in several different countries. Tom Price holds a Masters degree in Education from Harvard University and is on the faculty of the University of Arizona. Thomas Price's languages are, in descending order of fluency, English, French, Serbo-Croatian, Hebrew, Russian, German and Italian.
