Gene Randall

Gene Randall received his Bachelor of Arts, English from Georgetown University in 1964. His professional journalism experience includes being a national correspondent, national political correspondent and anchor for CNN (1983-2001).

Randall was with NBC News 1980-1983 as the Moscow Bureau Chief/Correspondent. Gene has worked for other television stations in the past, including correspondent and anchor of WMAQ-TV, Chicago 1976-1980. With his television assignments, Randall has covered many major stories including the Democratic national conventions in 1988, 1992 and 1996. He was named "best floor reporter" by Variety Magazine in 1996 and was host and anchor of the long-running series "Investigating The President" in 1998 and "This Week In Politics" 1999-2000.
