As a full-time professor at Scottsdale Community College, Steve Saffron created and for 10 years, taught the first "Laughter, Humor and Play Class" and the first "Friendship Class" in the nation for college credit. He is contracted as the "Humor Expert in Residence" for the 10 Maricopa Colleges throughout the greater Phoenix area. Steve works extensively with American Indians, whereby he learned to appreciate and celebrate cultural diversity. For 10 years, he directed the American Indian Program with a staff of 5 people. Some of his most innovative teaching tools on how to use humor to promote creativity and learning have come from Native Americans. Steve Saffron specializes in using positive humor to educate, motivate, and empower people. His programs are filled with high energy and lively audience participation.
