Joshua Seth is recognized as one of the top stage hypnotists anywhere in the world. With thousands of live and televised shows to his credit since 1991, it’s no wonder he’s been called “Amazingly Captivating” by American Entertainment Magazine. Joshua has toured around the world and has performed repeatedly in Tahiti, Australia, Jamaica, the Bahamas, Brazil, Europe and New Zealand. He’s the only hypnotist to have had his own prime-time TV special in Japan, not once but twice. He’s been featured in the United States on the Discovery Channel, Kids WB, ABC Family, and Fox Kids. Joshua was granted admittance to Kent State University at the age of 8. From an early age he demonstrated unusual mental abilities and the subject of numerous accelerated learning experiments by the researchers at his college. He was tested for ESP, psycokenesis, and other cognitive abilities. Joshua started Kent State University at the Age of 8 and later completed a 4 year degree program at New York University in only 2 years, with a double major, graduating with honors. After graduation, Joshua decided he wanted to move to Hollywood and voice cartoons. It was his dream at the time, so he flew out and did it. With zero connections in Hollywood, he landed an agent within one week and soon become one of the busiest voice actors in the industry. Within a few short years he voiced the starring role of “Tai” on the #1 Saturday morning cartoon “Digimon”, the starring role of “Tetuso” in the Anime classic Akira, and voiced over 50 other TV Shows and Movies (finally retiring from the field after voicing a role in the Spongebob Squarepants Movie). While living in LA he turned a childhood passion for magic into a Six Figure A Year secondary career and won First Place at the Academy of Magical Arts’ prestigious “Magic Castle Olympics” with his unique brand of mentalism (waking hypnosis). After 6 months of “retirement”, he decided his new dream was to travel the world with his hypnosis shows and seminars and to concentrate on helping other people to live their dreams as has. To date, Joshua has performed and lectured in Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Mexico, Jamaica, Italy, Turkey, Greece, Japan, and nearly every state and territory in the Union. In 2006 Joshua starred in his own 2 hour prime-time TV Special in Japan. He returned to Tokyo to film another prime-time Network Special the following year. Both specials finished #1 in the ratings during their sweeps week premiers. Joshua has authored two eBooks, ”The Secrets of Self Hypnosis” and “Seven Steps to Permanent Weight Loss”, as well as over two dozen self-hypnosis CDs.
