Vinny Verelli was born in Brooklyn when the Dodgers were still in town and received his education on the streets of New York. He motivates people with the Bada Bing Philosophy. He’s on task, he’s on target… he’s on parole.
Really? No, Vinny is actually award-winning speaker Jonathan Schwartz, a character actor with 40 years professional experience. Jonathan toured prisons with his production of Samuel Becket’s Waiting For Godot and has performed mime at Carnegie Hall. He has worked with Tennessee Williams, sailed the seas as cruise director and entertainer and performed as charcuterie chef at the Soho Charcuterie in NYC. Oh yeah, still receives residuals 14 years after taping an episode of, "Wildest Police Videos."
As a cruise director, Jonathan honed his humor, improvisational and motivational skills. You try motivating seasick passengers while dodging a hurricane in the middle of the Bermuda Triangle. It was also on a cruise ship that Jonathan met Broadway performer, Ginny King. They have been married for 30 years.
For 20 years Jonathan and Ginny produced themed entertainment for corporate and special events in the Atlanta area. Jonathan has written, produced and directed twenty-five interactive mysteries that have been produced at over 450 corporate events winning, 8 Allie Awards (given by the special events industry).
A two-time chapter member of the year, Jonathan is a past president of the Georgia Chapter of the National Speakers Association. In 2011 he received the Kay Herman Legacy Award for outstanding service.
Jonathan works with groups that want to laugh while they learn. Every one says it, so it must be true, people learn more and retain more when they’re having fun. That’s why Vinny created The Bada Bing Philosophy, his simple and highly customized approach to negativity management. One maxim, 2 Steps, and 3 simple tools. The maxim, “If you’re not having fun you’re doing it wrong, which ties into the whole laughing-learning thing we talked about. No one has time anymore for 12 steps, so Vinny only has two. That’s right 2 is the new 12. Add the F-Factor (Fun, Focus, Fervor) and Bada Bing, You’ve go one unique keynote.
